Privacy Policy

This policy explains what this website collects, why, and who else sees it. It covers jakerooker.com. It is not a substitute for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act privacy notice you receive from Bond Home Loans, LLC when you apply for a loan. That notice governs your loan file, and it controls where the two differ.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by Jake Rooker, a mortgage loan originator (NMLS 2173892) working through Bond Home Loans, LLC (NMLS 2750499), 10255 N 124th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85259. Questions about this policy can go to (480) 321-7782.

What this site collects

When you request a consultation

The inquiry forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, the type of financing you are considering, and your answers to a short set of questions, which may include an estimated purchase price or home value, an estimated loan amount, a credit score range, and your timeline. You choose what to enter. Nothing is required to read this site.

When you use the borrower portal

If you create an account, the site stores your profile, your loan application details, documents you upload, document requests, tasks, and messages between you and your loan officer. Access is controlled by per-user database policies, so one borrower cannot read another's file.

When you use the chat assistant

The intake assistant sends what you type to Groq, a third-party AI provider, in order to interpret your answers and organize them into an application. Do not enter a Social Security number, an account number, or a full date of birth into the chat. If you need to provide those, your loan officer will collect them through the secure document channel instead.

Automatically

Standard server and delivery-network logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) are generated by the hosting providers named below, as they are for any website.

What it is used for

  • Responding to your inquiry and preparing financing options for you.
  • Processing a loan application you choose to submit.
  • Requesting and receiving the documents underwriting requires.
  • Communicating with you about your file.
  • Keeping the site secure and working.

Your information is not sold, and it is not rented or traded to third parties for their own marketing.

Who else processes your information

These are service providers acting on our behalf, not independent recipients:

  • Supabase: database, authentication and document storage for the portal and inquiry forms.
  • Groq: processes the text you type into the intake assistant, as described above.
  • Apify: retrieves public property listing information when a property lookup is used.
  • Cloudflare: hosting and content delivery.
  • Google Firebase: legacy application configuration.

Beyond these, information may be shared with Bond Home Loans, LLC, and with the lenders, investors, title and escrow companies, appraisers and settlement service providers necessary to evaluate or close a loan you have applied for, and with regulators or others where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Inquiry records are kept while the inquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Loan file records are retained for the period mortgage lending regulations require, which is generally measured in years and is longer than you might expect. Ask if you want the specifics for your file.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, portal access requires authentication, and database access is restricted by per-user policies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no one can honestly promise otherwise. Do not send sensitive financial details by ordinary email; use the secure document channel your loan officer provides.

Your choices

  • You can decline to provide information, though that may make it impossible to prepare options or process an application.
  • You can ask what is held about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no legal retention obligation applies.
  • You can opt out of marketing contact at any time. This does not stop communication about a loan already in progress.

To make any of these requests, call (480) 321-7782. Note that the notification preferences in the portal are delivery settings, not a record of consent.

Children

This site is intended for adults seeking mortgage financing and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
