Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to research a mortgage and apply for one. This page says what has been done toward that, what is known to be imperfect, and how to get help if the site is getting in your way.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is the target, stated honestly as a target. This site has not been through a formal third-party audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What has been done
- Navigation uses real links, so keyboard navigation, browser history and screen-reader link lists work as expected.
- Interactive controls show a visible focus outline, and expandable menus report their state to assistive technology.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Animation and motion are reduced automatically when your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
- Pages are readable at a range of screen sizes and when text is enlarged.
- Page content is delivered as HTML text rather than being assembled only after scripts run, which makes it available to a wider range of assistive tools.
Known limitations
- The interactive charts in the mortgage calculators are visual. The underlying figures are shown as text alongside them, but the charts themselves are not fully described. If you need the numbers in another form, ask and we will send them.
- Some third-party components have not been individually audited for conformance.
If something is not working for you
Tell us and we will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you the information another way. Nobody should have to fight a website to get a straight answer about a mortgage.
Call (480) 321-7782. It helps if you can say which page you were on and what you were trying to do, but do not worry if you cannot.
Anything available on this site is available by phone, and any document can be provided in an alternative format on request.
